Suggestions...

Ok, I am very new to blogging, but I thought I'd give it a go!  Seems everyone's doing it.  If anyone has any tips on how the heck to make my blog cute (as you can tell I do not)  let me know where I can go to to get backgrounds and stuff like that :)
